Yona Lee is a Korean artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. She creates sculptures and installations that combine elaborate linear stainless steel tubing with everyday objects. From tabletop pieces to entire museum installations, Yona’s incredible work has been shown around the world and is held in many major institutional collections including Te Papa, Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, Dunedin Public Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Table Lamp for Christchurch is a series of twelve playful sculptures made by artist Yona Lee from stainless steel and an electric light-fitting with a lampshade. Each artwork is a unique composition. These sculptures are intended to be displayed in everyday settings – such as on a tabletop, shelf, plinth or other available piece of furniture or indoor architecture.

Don’t miss the chance to own one of five beautifully presented, limited-edition boxed sets of nine prints by nine great artists, each of whom have played a role in helping build the legacy of Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū over the past two decades: Graham Bennett, Tony de Lautour, Cheryl Lucas, Julia Morison, Séraphine Pick, Zina Swanson, Philip Trusttum, Francis Upritchard and Wayne Youle.
Each artwork has been meticulously printed on a Risograph printer by Aaron Beehre at the Ilam School of Fine Arts, numbered by hand to an edition of six and presented in a custom-made, engraved wooden box.
